Celebrating the Platinum Jubilee in Southwark

Southwark Charities is delighted to be part of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in Southwark.

On Friday 3rd June, we will be at The Bankside Open Spaces Festival. Pop along to our stall at Marlborough Sports Garden: 11 – 25 Union Street, SE1 1SD to find out about our plans to redevelop and double our provision of genuinely affordable housing – almshouses – for Southwark older people by the end of this decade. We’ll be there from 11am.

Our charitable grants are supporting Jubilee parties for older people at Age UK Stones End Day Centre in Borough and at Guinness Trust Estate in Bermondsey; and our almshouse residents are organising a party at Edward Edwards House over the Bank Holiday Weekend.
