Celebrating Southwark's older volunteers

Many congratulations to Alizon Cleal for winning the Southwark Stars Older Volunteer of the Year award, in recognition of her outstanding voluntary service with Bede House Learning Disabilities clients.

The prestigious award was presented by Southwark Charities Chair of Trustees, Caroline Croft,at the Southwark Stars event held at Tate Modern’s Tate Exchange on 26 May. Southwark Charities was delighted to part fund this year’s Southwark Stars event, organised by Community Southwark,  which recognises the amazing contribution of volunteers to Southwark’s diverse communities.

We also congratulate Lorraine Zuleta, Chair of Rotherhithe Consolidated Charities, who won Trustee of the Year, and all other winners of Southwark Stars awards.
