We offer members and residents the opportunity to participate in a whole programme of excursions & events, completely free ! Over the course of a typical year, there may be theatre matinees to see popular shows; days out at the seaside, with Hastings, Broadstairs, Southend and Margate all popular destinations; a river trip either up or down the Thames – we have visited Hampton Court, Kew Gardens and Greenwich in recent years; Afternoon Teas, where friends can meet over a cup of tea and some cake; a Christmas Lunch; and our Summer Garden Party.

At the beginning of the year we write to all the members with a list of the excursions and events. Members then complete the form by ticking their choices and returning it to us so we can plan properly. For some excursions numbers are limited, and so we try to be as equitable as possible in ensuring that no-one is left out.
