2024 welcomes a record number of new members

We have been busy promoting our membership scheme across the Borough and are delighted that we have welcomed a record number of new members. We have been working closely with our partners Southwark Pensioners Centre to help identify those most in need. Since January we have welcomed more than 58 new people who will all be eligible for our £200 a year stipend and invitations to our trips and activities.

We know that many older people are being affected by the cost of living crisis. Between us and our sister charities, Rotherhithe Consolidated Charities and St George The Martyr, we really can help when people need it the most. To check if you are eligible for any of our support you can call 020 7593 2000. You have to live in Southwark and be over 55 years of age with limited income and savings.

To welcome our new members we are hosting an event on Weds 13th November at 11am. All new members are welcome.
